My yoga teaching style is trauma-informed and taught in English — no Sanskrit required to feel at home here. I’ve been a certified yoga teacher since 2014, after completing 200-hour teacher training in the sacred lineage of Patanjali under mentors and teachers including Jyll Hubbard Salk, Leslie Kaminoff, Elena Brower, Amy DeFilippi, and Veronica Perretti. Music and mindful breath are inseparable from how I teach — together, they carry a room into something more than exercise.

Private Instruction: I do offer 1:1 and small-group sessions built around you — new to the mat, celebrating a special occasion, healing from injury, grief or burnout, or simply craving a practice that fits your actual life. We start with a conversation about what you need, then I design the experience around it.

Public Offerings: My community classes are usually restorative, breath-led practices open to yogis of every level — detailed cues, modifications for tighter bodies, deeper extensions for the flexible, and a live instrumentalist or purpose-built playlist. Participants may bring a mat, pillow and blanket, or venues may provide props. Sample my mixtape VIBES below.

Partnerships: This work has found a home at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the Studio Museum in Harlem, Georgetown and Howard University, Eaton and Arlo hotels, Soho House, and the Kennedy Center. If you’re a cultural arts institution, church or school, non-traditional wellness space, or brand looking for a grounded, culturally rooted partner, I’d love to talk — reach out and let’s build something together.
